I have been providing the WP EE community with custom theming and EE development for the past 3 years.
I’ve just finished a fully rewritten flexible category sorting/filtering event list template and event filtering calendar addon. I am very interested in getting some feedback on these items from the EE community. If there is enough interest I will build these items into 1-click install plugin addons for EE this week.
As-is They are very easy to implement and add css to match your EE themes. Look for screenshots here later today.
